Project Overview

In the O'CASEY project we are exploring how Case Based Reasoning (a learning and problem solving methodology) might be used to assist non-expert users to author Constraint Programs. Specifically we are considering how Case-Based Reasoning and other machine learning methodologies might help us choose among different problem solving strategies.

A collaboration has developed between the O'Casey project team and members of the DEIS research laboratory at the University of Bologna led by Associate Professor Michela Milano.

O'CASEY is funded by Science Foundation Ireland. The project commenced in 2001 and is on-going.
