Barry O'Sullivan

Barry O'Sullivan

I am a permanent member of academic staff in the Department of Computer Science. I am also a member of the Cork Constraint Computation Centre, the director of which is Prof. Eugene Freuder. My main area of research interest is Constraint Processing. In particular, I am interested in automating both the process of acquiring constraints and also the process of developing constraint solvers. I am also interested in applications of constraints in domains such as Configuration, Artificial Intelligence in Design, Product Development and Computer Integrated Manufacturing. I am a reviewer for a number of international journals and conferences.
