PhD (University College Cork), MSc (Université Montpellier 2)

Alexandre Papadopoulos

I joined 4C in late 2006 as a PhD student and defended my PhD thesis in June 2011. The title of my dissertation is "Computing Explanations for Interactive Constraint-based Systems". This work focused on providing explanations to the users of such systems, with a particular emphasis on large configuration problems.

I then worked as a post-doctoral researcher, in collaboration with Alcatel-Lucen/Bell Labs, on a two-year IRCSET Enterprise Partnership Scheme Postdoctoral Fellowship, on a project concerning optimisation for transparent optical networks.

I am currently part of CeADAR -- the Centre for Applied Data Analytics Research. CeADAR is an industry-led technology centre in the area of Data Analytics.
