Work Packages
SCEWA project is devided in 7 work packages.
Currently we are working on the third work package. The objectives are:
- Develop a model of dissemination of warnings and emergency responses;
- Evaluate existing modelling languages in conjunction to the first objective;
- Define the high level requirements and specifications of the EWS notation language;
- Update the knowledge base of the early warning system;
Privious Work Packages
The second work package ended on June 2009. It's objectives were:
- Identify anticipated problems in the domain of water treatment plants operations;
- Perform risk and vulnerability analysis in water treatment plants;
- Identify early warning signals;
- Build a knowledge base;
The first work package ended on June 2008. It's objectives were:
- Establish collaborations with water treatment plant experts;
- Clarification of the concepts of early warning systems and early warning signals in the context of environmental engineering;
- Familiarisation with the system under study;
- Develop a high level operation and management model of the water treatment plant;
